Warehouse Operative

Willmotts Transport is one of the largest independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South West. Due to continued success and growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly and dynamic team out of our warehouse in Westfield, Radstock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take part in the day-to-day operation of our warehouses and storage facilities

• Taking delivery of goods for storage

• Checking for damaged or missing items

• Moving stock by hand or with machines

• De-stuffing containers

• Loading / unloading trailers either for deliveries or collections

• Cleaning the warehouse

Key Competencies:

• Proven experience in a warehouse setting

• Able to work as part of a team and alone

• Capability to report correct information to colleagues

• You will thrive in a fast-paced environment

• A forklift license both Counterbalance and Bendi required

Additional Details:

• Hours of work Friday to Monday 06:00 – 18:00 – (12 hour shift over 4 days – 48 hours)

• Immediate start required

• 20 days holiday per year

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
